Now Stern pays tribute to the celebrated driver with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Limited Edition Pinball, a chrome-trimmed pinball machine designed by Pat Lawlor and his team at Pat Lawlor Design. Ideal for any location–especially street locations–Dale Earnhardt Jr. Pinball simulates the high energy of racing with a racetrack that encompasses the entire playing surface. Energized by magnets, the loop sends pinballs around the track as if they were Junior’s red #8 themselves (a detail that’s also visible on the back glass). In addition, players can launch a ball through the machine’s truck hauler for just a bit more authenticity. And to further the genuine NASCAR feel, the game features a voiceover from NBC television analyst Allen Bestwick. Other features include Sammy Hagar’s “I Can’t Drive 55″ in the background, backglass designed by pinball artist John Youssi, a cabinet and playfield designed by Kevin O’Connor, and chromed metal molding. One of only 600 made, this limited-edition machine measures 27 by 75.5 by 55 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 250 pounds.
